3 CSR Europe Members Join the World Economic Forum's Initiative for Racial Justice in Business
The Coca-Cola Company, IBM, and Johnson & Johnson joined “Partnering for Racial Justice in Business”, the initiative of the World Economic Forum to build equitable and just workplaces for professionals with under-represented racial and ethnic identities.
The objective of this global coalition of organizations and their C-suite leaders is to design racially just workplaces. This requires companies to confront racism at a systemic level — addressing everything from the structural and social mechanics of their own organizations to the role they play in the communities in which they operate and the economy at large.
CSR Europe also strives for inclusion and diversity in the workplace. The new project Business Uniting Talents 2030 (BUT2030), launched with the support of the King Baudouin Foundation and Prince Philippe Fund, aims at reducing inequalities in employment opportunities and closing the gap between talents’ skills and jobs.
