THE CHALLENGE
Despite Belgium's diverse population, with over 30% being first- or second-generation immigrants, their integration into the national labor market lags behind.
Non-EU nationals face an employment rate almost 30% lower than that of Belgian citizens. This places Belgium among the poorest performers in Europe when it comes to effectively integrating individuals with foreign origins into the workforce.
BUSINESS UNITING TALENTS 2030 (BUT2030)

Today, the BUT2030 Companies Workstream is still active, with AGC, Axa, Engie, Janssen, Port of Antwerp, Solvay gathering bi-monthly to discuss MD&I challenges and explore new opportunities.
The group is currently working on a Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Pledge to step forward toward multiculturality across Belgium, and beyond.
