CLOSED EVENT | CORPORATE MEMBERS ONLY
In response to growing sustainability expectations from external stakeholders, companies are increasingly called upon to enhance their supplier engagement strategies and adopt more modern, comprehensive approaches to supplier collaboration. Companies’ efforts must go beyond assessing suppliers’ production and quality performances and should focus on ambitious sustainability goals as well. Such goals can be achieved only through closer and stronger collaboration in the supply chain.
Supplier engagement becomes an even more critical topic in light of new legislative requirements introduced by the European Union’s Green Deal. Measures such as the Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive, the Forced Labor Regulation, and the EU Deforestation Regulation compel companies to strengthen their policies, processes, and tools to drive sustainability across their supply chains. Only through deeper, more strategic collaboration within the supply chain can companies transform compliance into meaningful impacts on pressing sustainability challenges.
The Atelier series “Suppliers Engagement for Sustainable Impact” is designed to equip participants with a deeper understanding of the challenges and opportunities associated with mature and advanced supplier engagement strategies and how these can support the adoption of effective sustainability due diligence frameworks.
In this first online session on Modern Approaches to Supplier Engagement, the audience will have the opportunity to familiarise themselves with the concept of supplier engagement and picture what a mature engagement strategy looks like.
