ATELIER - Modern Approaches to Supplier Engagement

CLOSED EVENT | CORPORATE MEMBERS ONLY

In response to growing sustainability expectations from external stakeholders, companies are increasingly called upon to revise their supplier engagement strategies and adopt more modern, comprehensive approaches to supplier collaboration in order to achieve meaningful social and environmental impact. These efforts go beyond assessing production and quality performance, focusing instead on establishing relationships with tier-1 and sub-tier suppliers centred on ambitious sustainability goals.

This focus becomes even more critical in light of new legislative requirements introduced by the European Union’s Green Deal. Measures such as the Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive, the Forced Labor Regulation, and the EU Deforestation Regulation compel companies to strengthen their policies, processes, and tools to drive sustainability across their supply chains. Only through deeper, more strategic collaboration within the supply chain can companies transform compliance into meaningful impacts on pressing sustainability challenges.

The Atelier series “Suppliers Engagement for Sustainable Impact” is designed to equip corporate members with a deeper understanding of the challenges and opportunities associated with developing mature and advanced supplier engagement strategies. It will demonstrate how such strategies can support the adoption of effective sustainability due diligence frameworks. Companies will learn best practices for enhancing supplier relationships and leveraging sustainability as a strategic asset to drive long-term, collaborative value.
