Explore how to go beyond unilateral definition of sustainability requirements to develop effective engagement and joint actions with suppliers, enhancing competitiveness by addressing sustainability in a collaborative and efficient manner. Understand the processes, strategies, and actions that companies can adopt to enhance supplier engagement, such as supplier councils, annual meetings, and supplier training or content. Gain insights into EU due diligence requirements and the critical role of supplier engagement in driving sustainability impact beyond compliance.

Day 2 | Responsible Purchasing Practices: The Power of Collaboration for Growth and Competitiveness

Explore best practices and case studies of collaboration and engagement with suppliers to support sustainability due diligence. Understand the frameworks for responsible purchasing practices and how to create long-term value through supplier partnerships. Gain insights into the role of multi-stakeholder initiatives in advancing due diligence efforts and implementing on-the-ground remedial action plans. Learn how to effectively leverage grievance mechanisms to engage suppliers in remediation and continuous improvement efforts.
