EU MASTERCLASS - Value Chain Transparency & Traceability in the Deforestation and Forced Labour Regulations

FREE FOR MEMBERS | PAID FOR NON-MEMBERS

View Agenda

In conjunction with the Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive, the European Commission has introduced additional legislation, including the Proposal for a Regulation on batteries, the Proposal for a Regulation on deforestation-free products, and the Proposal for a Regulation to prohibit products made with forced labor in the Union market.

While the Deforestation Regulation took effect in June 2023, discussions on the Forced Labor Regulation are ongoing, with a provisional agreement reached on the 5th of March.

As the finalization of these regulations approaches and the application date of the Deforestation Regulation looms, CSR Europe will conduct an EU Masterclass focusing on the layered Value Chain Transparency and Traceability requirements of both legislations.
