In 2024, CSR Europe established Europe’s first Chief Sustainability Officers (CSO) Network to bridge the gap between the industry’s experience and policymaking.
By facilitating dialogue and cooperation between business leaders and European policymakers, the European CSO Network aims to accelerate a Just Transition towards a sustainable and equitable future and unlock the potential of effective policy frameworks.
If you are a Chief Sustainability Officer (CSO) or equivalent, join this online meeting to learn more about the European CSO Network and its activities.
During the meeting, participants will:
discuss the outcomes of our questionnaire collecting CSOs opinions.
understand the interest of the European Commission (DG GROW, DG CLIMA, DG INTPA, DG FISMA) to see the CSO Network as a dialogue platform towards more workable and effective policies and regulations and discuss the ways to engage with the European Commission, leveraging President Von der Leyen guidance to “Make business work better”.
prepare for the physical Meeting with the new incoming European Commission on 26 November or 5 December.
test some of the proposed activities for the European CSO Network in 2025.
