This webinar is part of a series of events on digitalization in Africa organized by RES4Africa Foundation with the support of CSR Europe.
The recent responses of North African governments to curb the spread of COVID-19 highlighted the need for safe, resilient, and sustainable mobility modes. The COVID-19 lockdown, and the resulting improvement in air quality due to reduced automobile usage, has shown that switching to electric-run transportation could be a game-changer for the transportation sector in the region.
Although North African countries have been greatly investing in renewable energy sources - especially wind and solar - the transportation sector is still at the early stages of the green transition.
This webinar will shed light on enablers and barriers to the uptake of electric mobility in North Africa, and present best practices from other countries.
