OPEN EVENT
Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics (STEM) skills are in high demand in the job market as they are critical to solving the world’s biggest sustainability challenges. In support of teachers and students, the partners of the collaborative platform Together 4 STEM launched STEM@Home: a digital learning platform with a rich collection of free, multi-lingual courses on STEM.
As the European Commission dedicates the year 2022 to youth and next generations, the mission of Together 4 STEM is even more relevant now. Following the COP-26 and considering the alarming consequences that climate change is causing, it is fundamental to encourage schools to take action and integrate climate-related topics into their science programs. In this regard, the Together 4 STEM Platform announces its enlargement and expands its resources by developing the first CSR Europe Climate Education Toolkit that will lead the way to a more impactful and local approach.
This event aims to welcome all companies interested in making a difference and bringing climate education into schools, closing the gap between industries and education. The purpose of this event is to have a dialogue on climate education as a part of STEM and encourage companies into taking action by dedicating their knowledge and current programs to the workforce of tomorrow.
