CSR Cyprus' Teleconference on ‘Teleworking: Challenges and Good Practices’

On April 14, CSR Cyprus organized a teleconference with its members on the challenges and opportunities of teleworking. Based on the result of a questionnaire, distributed to all members, good practices and challenges were identified.

Good practices and opportunities:

  • Scheduling of online teamwork activities and games;

  • The discovery of new online tools and social media to facilitate a smooth running of the digital office.

Concerns and challenges:

  • Challenges related to the change in modus operandi and inadequate infrastructure;

  • Health & safety of employees;

  • The difficulty in managing a healthy work-life balance.

Like CSR Cyprus, many of our National Partner Organisations continue to go beyond the ordinary to support their members in these times of crisis.

But what comes next? Now, as the COVID-19 lockdown measures are slowly starting to ease, there is an urgency for togetherness: for enterprises, industry federations, policymakers, and civil society organisations to collaborate and build back better. How?  CSR Europe will engage its NPOs to transform the CEOs Call into a big action under the umbrella of a European Pact for Sustainable Industry.
