Enel Premium Sponsor of the European SDG Summit 2022
Enel, the renewable supermajor, will be premium sponsor of the European SDG Summit 2022 – Together for an Inclusive Green Deal, taking place on 10-12 October. After the pandemic and amid the outbreak of the war in Ukraine, the world needs to accelerate the journey towards climate neutrality and the adoption of an inclusive approach to the green and digital transition. Over the course of 21 virtual sessions - consisting of 3 high-level plenaries and 18 SDG Roundtables - leaders from the European Union, businesses, industry federations, representatives of governments and civil society organisations will engage in action-oriented dialogues to conciliate climate action with the pressing need for a Just Transition.
Global Thought Leaders like Enel will share insights on their journey to transform their organisation and manage the climate transition through the proximity with and the continuous empowerment of employees, suppliers, investors, consumers, and communities.
Gonzalo Juárez de la Rasilla, Head of Sustainability Stakeholders Engagement at Enel said:
“The European SDG Summit offers a unique opportunity at this critical historical moment to bring together European leaders and relevant stakeholders to endorse and shape a fair twin transition, putting people at the centre.
We must envision a future with the awareness that, if we do not tackle inequality today and ensure that no one is left behind, ours will be a shared failure.
Multistakeholder collaboration is crucial to bring together the public and private sector, workers, communities, consumers, and all those striving for an ambitious goal: an Inclusive Green Deal for a Just & Equitable Transition.”
