EU Commission Delays Next Steps over Covid-19 Crisis
Notwithstanding a swift start to make Europe first climate-neutral continent in the world, the evolution and the unprecedented spreading of the Covid-19 has changed the planning of the European Commission.
Deferred of almost a month, the new meeting dates set by the Commission are:
March 25, 2020 - Action Plan on Human Rights and Democracy (2020–2024)
April 29, 2020 - ‘Farm to Fork’ Strategy (tbc) and EU Biodiversity Strategy for 2030 (tbc)
May 6, 2020 - Updated Skills Agenda for Europe
To limit the consequences of Covid-19, the EC presented a comprehensive response plan aimed at supporting the EU economy and enabling Member States to help companies struggling with liquidity shortages.
