European Green Week
EU Green Week is an annual opportunity to debate European environmental policy with policymakers, leading environmentalists and stakeholders from Europe and beyond. This year's edition focuses on the European Green Deal - the EU’s sustainable and transformative growth strategy for a resource-efficient and climate-neutral Europe by 2050.
EU Green Week 2022 will take place from 30 May to 5 June 2022. The Green Week hybrid conference opens on 30 May with a high level debate on what happens to the EU environmental policy in times of crisis. The following day, three important aspects of the transformation – circular economy, zero pollution, and biodiversity, will be in the spotlight. Throughout the week, partner events will be taking place across Europe and beyond.

European Development Days (EDD)
The European Development Days (EDD) are Europe’s leading forum on international partnerships. Organised by the European Commission, the forum brings key actors together to share ideas and experiences in ways that inspire new partnerships and innovative solutions to the world’s most pressing challenges.
For its 15th edition, the EDD will focus on “Global Gateway: Building Sustainable Partnerships for a Connected World.” Global Gateway is the new European Strategy to boost smart, clean and secure links in digital, energy and transport and strengthen health, education and research systems across the world. It stands for sustainable and trusted connections that work for people and the planet, to tackle the most pressing global challenges, from climate change and protecting the environment, to improving health security and boosting competitiveness and global supply chains.
Forum on Protecting and Facilitating Investment in the Single Market
The European Commission (Directorate General for Financial Stability, Financial Services and Capital Markets Union - DG FISMA) is organising a forum to discuss the regulatory framework protecting and facilitating investment in the EU with stakeholders and Member States.
The forum will bring together all stakeholders and encourage exchanges of views in a roundtable format. The participants will include companies and investor associations from various sectors, legal practitioners, academics, civil society organisations, Member States authorities as well as Commission officials.

Switching to the Circular Economy to Tackle Carbon Emissions
The EU Circular Talks is an exchange concept of the European Circular Economy Stakeholder Platform. It aims to encourage stakeholders to interact and discuss the circular economy topics in the platform.
The IPCC’s recent report outlined how rapidly the world is heating up due to human activity and the role that our carbon dioxide emissions are playing in that rise. Paris Agreement-aligned targets require emissions to be cut by half by 2030 and to reach net zero by 2050. During the UN high-level meeting Stockholm +50, governments from around the world are meeting to commemorate the 1972 United Nations Conference on the Environment and celebrate 50 years of global environmental action.
This talk is an associated event of Stockholm +50 and World Environment Day (WED). It will discuss the EU's role in reducing carbon emissions and discuss the policy and legislative changes needed in order to do so.
