HERE Technologies Maps Mobility Flows Across Italy with ENEL X
In an effort to contain the spread of COVID-19, Here Technologies has partnered up with Enel X in a big data project to map the mobility flows across Italy. The aim is to anonymously map the movement of people to help Italy get back to normal sooner rather than later.
“The solution supports our country in this difficult period," explains Sergio Gambacorta, head of smart cities at ENEL X's innovation and production lab. “The dialogue and data assessment with HERE has been crucial to making this project real. The dashboard offers public indicators about mobility to help public administrations measure the effectiveness of the lockdown policy”.

Now, as the COVID-19 lockdown measures are slowly starting to ease, there is an urgency for togetherness: for enterprises, industry federations, policymakers, and civil society organisations to collaborate and build back better. How? By incubating collaborations on practical solutions under the umbrella of a European Pact for Sustainable Industry.
