How can your Company Advance on Responsible Tax Practices?
Businesses interested in improving their tax transparency and disclosure are invited to join the open webinar “Tax Responsibility for an Equitable Society” on 23 June.
Participants will receive updates on the latest policy insights; current approaches to corporate tax transparency; and best practices of frontrunner companies.
Tax transparency is a fundamental component of a company’s journey towards more sustainable services, products, and operations. However, monitoring and improving one’s approach to taxation remains challenging due to the lack of a common framework to evaluate corporate performance and the wide variety of tools available, such as GRI 207 Tax Standards or the B Team Tax Principles.
CSR Europe’s open webinar “Tax Responsibility for an Equitable Society”, taking place on 23 June, aims to bring clarity to companies on how to disclose tax information successfully and meet the expectations of a wide variety of stakeholders, including investors and civil society organisations. Registrations are open until 21st June at 11:00 CEST.
Participants will receive an update on:
The current regulatory landscape, including the new measures introduced to prevent tax evasion, such as the European Union’s Country-by-Country Reporting Directive.
The key challenges to address to become a tax transparent and responsible company.
Best practices and successful corporate narratives on tax disclosure.
Speakers of the event include Mr. Paul Tang, Member of the European Parliament and Chair of the Parliament’s subcommittee on Tax Matters, representatives of frontrunning companies, and organisations that are leading on tax disclosure, such as the B Team network and Global Reporting Initiative.
