Save the Date: European SDG Summit 2022 Call for Proposals Set to Open on 11 March
On 11 March CSR Europe will officially open the call for proposals for the European SDG Summit 2022: Together for an Inclusive Green Deal, taking place virtually between 10-12 October.
Europe, in line with its welfare state experience, is taking the lead to leave no one behind in the green and digital transformation with the Green Deal, the European Pillar of Social Rights Action Plan, the Just Transition Mechanism, and the NextGenerationEU Programme.
Nevertheless, the scale and magnitude of the effort ahead require not only individual commitments to net-zero but also collaborative actions from all stakeholders.
In this 5th edition, National Partner Organisations are invited to present their ideas for the definition of the topics of 6 European SDG Roundtables aimed at fostering action-oriented dialogues to conciliate climate action with the pressing need for an inclusive Just Transition.
NEXT STEPS:
11th of march: Based on the focus areas expressed at the 1st NPO meeting on the 17th of February, CSR Europe will send out the call for proposal with NPOs working groups.
28th of April: 1st draft concept note and agenda
26th of May: 2nd draft concept note and agenda
7th of June: Final concept note and agenda of the European SDG Summit roundtables at the NPOs meeting in Brussels.
