DG GROW renovates its internal structure
The new organigramme reflects the 14 industrial ecosystems of the new Industrial Strategy.
The fourteen industrial ecosystems at the core of the EU Industrial Strategy are now reflected in the internal structure of the Directorate General on Internal Market, Industry, Entrepreneurship, and SMEs (DG GROW). With such a measure, the Commission aims to “better design actions to help the European economy recover from the COVID pandemic”.
The new organigramme sees four directorates shaped around “ecosystems”:
Directorate F, Ecosystems I: Chemicals, food, retails.
Directorate G, Ecosystems II: tourism and proximity – covering everything related to CSR.
Directorate H, Ecosystems III: construction & machinery.
Directorate I, Ecosystems IV: mobility & energy-intensive industries.
