In the wake of the EU Green Deal and the Sustainable Finance strategy, the European Commission adopted a proposal for a Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive, which will revise and extend the reporting requirements introduced by the Non-Financial Reporting Directive (NFRD).
The proposal aims to bridge the gap between sustainability information disclosed by companies in the framework of the NFRD and stakeholder’s needs for comparable, relevant and reliable information.
