With critical mineral supply chains becoming increasingly important, the mining industry realises that it must actively engage with the downstream. This could be to search for potential offtake partners, but also to learn about their sustainability requirements and ensure that they have the ability and processes in place to meet these requirements.

Hear from over 300 industry speakers from the likes of Vale, Anglo American, and BHP as well an exhibition which has 170 mining companies in attendance, many of which are exploring, developing and producing battery metals, rare earths, and other critical minerals. 20 Governments will be present at the event with representatives last year from United States, Canada (Ontario, Quebec, Yukon and British Columbia), Australia, Chad, Nigeria, South Sudan, Armenia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyz Republic, Saudi Arabia and the United Kingdom.
During the event, Drive Sustainability will host a session on the EU Batteries Regulation, exploring how to advance harmonisation in responsible sourcing practices and increase value chain collaboration for tangible improvement on the ground.
