Club de Excelencia en Sostenibilidad Launched the “Diverse, Inclusive and Equal Company” Distinctive
Club de Excelencia en Sostenibilidad, the Spanish business association of leading companies in Sustainability and CSR Europe’s National Partner Organization (NPO), has recently presented its “Diverse, Inclusive and Equal Company” Distinctive.
This label, created and managed by the Club de Excelencia en Sostenibilidad, is a European brand that recognizes companies committed to integrating Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DE&I) into their corporate culture and strategy, and which demonstrate compliance with the evaluation criteria established for this label.
This Distinctive aims to recognize companies that have integrated Diversity, Equity and Inclusion into their business culture and strategy, from their Governance and Management bodies, with the highest standards, and considering the different dimensions of diversity (gender, generational, geographic/cultural, functional, sexual orientation, etc). Through this Distinctive, companies that obtain it can demonstrate their commitment and progress in this area of business management to their respective stakeholders.
The achievement of the Distinctive requires the compliance of a set of comprehensive Criteria, with an associated scoring system, which is assessed through information, evidence, data, and indicators requested from the company. The methodology has been validated with contributions from recognized organizations in the field of diversity, as well as from companies that have participated in the pilot phase carried out with enterprises from various sectors. This methodology is updated periodically, in order to include the updated regulations, public policies and best business practices, to allow distinguished companies to demonstrate their continuous leadership in Diversity, Equity and Inclusion.
This Distinctive has been granted with the Registered Trademark Guarantee from the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO), which means the possibility for companies based in EU Member States to apply for getting it.
