CSR Europe in joint partnership with the European Business Summit (EBS) will host "Transforming Business for a Sustainable Europe". The Summit, taking place on 10-11 June, will be marked by the inauguration of the European Pact for Sustainable Industry, that will kick off the pillar “Towards a Sustainable Europe”. Companies have the opportunity to sponsor the sustainability event of the year and position themselves as sustainability leaders.
On the 10th, CSR Europe will host its annual General Assembly between 14.00 and 18.00. Later in the day, we will bring on stage influential industry leaders who will make an exciting announcement regarding business’ contribution to the EU Green Deal and the new EU Industry Strategy. CSR Europe corporate members are invited to suggest speakers to feature.
On the 11th, we will open the Pillar “Towards a Sustainable Europe”. In the first plenary session, we will inaugurate the Pact for Sustainable Industry, the execution of the 2019 CEO Call to Action. Afterwards, we will look at how businesses and industry can create impact and achieve a Sustainable Europe by 2030 through collaboration.
In the second plenary session “Financing Systemic Transformation”, CSR Europe will explore with high-level representatives from business, industry and the European Institutions, how to shift from a volume to value drive economy.
In the afternoon, following the morning plenary, CSR Europe will be back with 15 interactive SDGs Roundtables. For a whole hour, participants will be able to engage practically with a small group expert sitting at their table. CSR Europe’s corporate members and National Partner Organisations (NPOs) are invited to suggest topics and speakers to feature.
