  • To drive future innovation, J&J’s R&D spend increased to $14.7 billion, the highest annual spend in its recent history.

  • To further empower employees, J&J refreshed its Enterprise diversity, equity, and inclusion strategy and increased global representation of women and ethnic, racially diverse employees at all business levels while reinforcing a culture of inclusion and belonging.

  • To advance environmental health, in alignment with global climate change mitigation efforts, J&J signed the Race to Zero/Business Ambition for 1.5°C campaign, aiming to achieve net-zero carbon emissions by 2045, as the company further reduced its carbon footprint by 34%.
