RespACT: Join the 2023 CSR Day on Energy and Mobility

In October, respACT - the Austrian leading Business platform for Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and sustainable development - will host the CSR-DAY 2023.

The event is one of the most important in Austria in the field of CSR and sustainable development and takes place once a year in October. National and international experts discuss in front of more than 300 participants from business, science, politics and civil society, united by their interest in corporate sustainability management.

Energy and Mobility

“Energy and Mobility” is the main topic chosen for the 2023 edition.

The year 2022 made it clear: in addition to climate change, sustainable energy supply is one of the greatest challenges of our time. It is a central topic in all areas of industry and life. After all, energy is required along the entire value chain of products - from the extraction of raw materials, through manufacture and use, to disposal and recycling at the end of life.

Nowadays, fossil fuels still make up the bulk of the energy sources used. Mobility, as we know it today, would be unthinkable without fuels made from crude oil products. But Fossil fuels are finite and burning them has a major impact on the climate. In order to ensure a secure energy supply in the future, ecologically sensible, sustainable solutions for energy supply, storage and use are required.

At the CSR-DAY 2023, these issues will be addressed by highlighting and discussing energy supply technologies, fuels and mobility concepts with regard to their environmental balance and sustainability.
