Together 4 STEM Goes Green
In 2022, members of the collaborative platform Amgen, Huawei, and Johnson and Johnson will bring climate education into school to close the existing gap with the industry.
Companies interested in fostering STEM for climate education are invited to join the launch event on 3rd May.
Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics will be crucial to tackle the climate crisis in the next years. For this reason, partners of the collaborative platform Together 4 STEM, decided to shift the angle of its mission to embrace, next to gender equality in STEM careers, the promotion of climate education in schools.
Companies interested in fostering STEM for climate education are invited to join the launch event “STEM Goes Green”, taking place on 3rd May.
Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) are key subjects for the development of good environmental practices, and as such should be built in the classroom to raise awareness of climate change.
After building the free online learning platform STEM@Home for students and teachers, in 2022, Together 4 STEM partners Amgen, Huawei, and Johnson and Johnson will draft a Climate Education Toolkit in collaboration with CSR Europe.
This will be the first step towards the integration of climate education into school programs. Following an inquiry-based approach, teachers will be able to use the toolkit to lead debates in the classroom and support students in learning the STEM skills needed to tackle climate change thanks to top-of-the-class resources developed by leading companies.
