Forética: New Spanish Benchmark Business Platform on Climate Change
The Climate Change Cluster, coordinated by Forética and made up of more than 70 companies -led by Bankinter, Chiesi, Grupo Cooperativo Cajamar, ENGIE, IKEA, LafargeHolcim, Naturgy and Nestlé - focuses its action on promoting the contribution of the business sector to the decarbonization of Spain by 2050.
To this end, the Climate Change Cluster focuses on three key aspects of the companies' environmental strategy:
The need to integrate climate risks and transparency in business management, evolving from what is voluntary to what is required.
The transformation of systems, with the relevance of the supply chain management in climate change strategies.
The progress in the concept of compensation through, among other tools, nature-based solutions.
In addition, Forética has launched 'ClimaticON', a new monthly blog series that will address current affairs in national and international environmental trends in the business world, including the progress and key aspects ahead of the Conference of the Parties (COP26) in Glasgow that will take place from 1 to 12 November.
