Only by working together with cross-sectoral efforts—supporting young entrepreneurs in developing and scaling their solutions—we can address our ever-increasing societal problems.
This session will explore the importance of scaling start-ups to reach the Sustainable Development Goals, facilitating conversations between promising start-ups and corporations, venture capitalists, and civic leaders to deliver the greatest impact.
Regionally, Samsung For Impact is a European-focused impact accelerator program designed to discover and bolster promising impact start-ups and entrepreneurs working to achieve social good through their business or developing innovative technologies with a social purpose.
In parallel, the non-profit Extreme Tech Challenge (XTC), founded by Samsung President Young Sohn and Bill Tai, Partner Emeritus at Charles River Ventures, executes the world’s largest start-up competition for business ventures that are solving for the UN SDGs.
